National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers ( NABH )

The National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers, or NABH, was founded in 2006. It was established as a member board of the Quality Council of India to create and manage an accreditation process for healthcare organisations.

An extensive healthcare standard for hospitals and healthcare providers has been developed by organisations like the Quality Council of India (QCI) and its National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers. The hospital must meet this strict standard’s 600+ objective requirements in order to receive NABH certification. The board’s goal is to make sure that a patient entering the hospital has a simple and convenient experience with admission, registration, pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgical protocols, as well as release from the hospital to follow up with the patient.

The Joint Commission of the United States, the Haute Autorité de Santé (France), the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards, and the Japan Council for Quality in Health Care are worldwide standards that are comparable to NABH. The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), the highest authority accrediting such boards, has recognized its criteria, putting NABH accreditation on par with that of the best hospitals in the world.About 350 hospitals in India have received NABH certification as of this writing. Prolife Cancer Centre & Research Institute should be extremely delighted to receive this recognition from a body that gives careful consideration to patient convenience and care.
